This Balblair was distilled on 25th March 1996 and bottled in April 2017 from a refill ex-Bourbon barrel which produced 199 bottles.
|The WSD: Initial sweet creamy and fresh. Hard candy. Ethereal. Then comes layers of ripe bananas, apricot jam, lemon bon bons, orange and then lime marmalade. All underpinned by a light toffee sent.|
|The WSD: Initially spicy. Creamy caramel. Treacle tarts with the hot pastry coming through. Ginger nuts. Then citrus notes come through: real lemonade, hot jam tarts and blood orange marmalade.|
